Apart from offering an introduction to the Catalan herpetofauna, it was deepened in the different techniques of search in the study of this group: genetic studies, distribution with GIS tools, field methodology, biosecurity, etc.

As part of this training day, Fèlix Amat gave a talk presenting the Life Tritó Montseny project and this endemic species of Montseny.

On Saturday, at dusk, there was a night out to locate amphibians. The training continued on Sunday and at noon there was a daytime observation of reptiles.
