This year 2019 we release Number 1, which was edited and sent at the end of April.

All the news of the Life Tritó Montseny project that took place during the months of January, February and March 2019 were collected.

One of the novelties highlighted in the first bulletin was the Biodiversity Night 2019, which the Barcelona Zoo Foundation presented in the auditorium of the Ciutadella Campus of the UPF. In this act the emphasis was placed on the need for the conservation of biodiversity, the decline of species, especially invertebrates, the great unknown. As part of the celebration, the Life Tritó Montseny project and this endemic species from the Natural Park were presented.

Also presented was the permanent exhibition 'Tú investigas!', inaugurated on Saturday 12 January at the Museum of Natural Sciences of Granollers. Aimed at a family audience, the exhibition is structured around the four research areas of the Natural Science Museum of Granollers: bats, lepidoptera, small mammals and herpetology (amphibians and reptiles).

Other novelties related to the dissemination of the project were: the presentation of the exhibition at the Industrial School, the publication of new information  leaflets and talks to schoolchildren in the municipalities of the Park.

Regarding the novelties of the project related to conservation actions and monitoring of the species, we highlight the transfer of newts from the Torreferrussa Fauna Centre to the Pont de Suert centre and the Barcelona Zoo, and the second meeting of the committee of experts.
