We already have the sensors installed!!

During the month of January, the project technicians have installed sensors in the torrents where the Montseny newt lives.
Sensors are devices that measure water pressure, brightness and temperature. All the data collected will help us to know in what conditions the torrents inhabited by the Montseny newt, the flow, and what is the seasonal behavior of the species. These data will be transferred to the naturalized aquariums of the breeding centres, where we will try to reproduce the conditions that the Montseny newt has in nature. In this way, we will be able to observe, in captivity, how the Montseny newt behaves when environmental conditions change.
