The exhibition arrives in Barcelona

31/01/2019 08:37 h.

The exhibition of the project could be visited in Barcelona, in the facilities of the Industrial School.

Last Wednesday, January 30th, Daniel Guinart, coordinator of Life Tritó Montseny, presented the project to the staff of the Natural Spaces Services Management. Firstly, in the auditorium, he gave a talk to announce the actions and objectives planned for the four years that the project lasts (2016-2020). Afterwards, all together, we visited the exhibition located on the ground floor of the building.

With the name 'My name is Calotriton and I only live in Montseny', the exhibition consists of eight informative panels and a scale reproduction of the Montseny newt that help to get to know this endemic species of the torrents of the Montseny Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve (included in the Natura 2000 Network).

The exhibition follows an itinerancy through the eighteen municipalities of the Park, but from 16 January to 19 February, it was installed on the ground floor of the Clock Building, in the premises of the Barcelona Industrial School (Comte d'Urgell, 187).

The Management of Natural Spaces Services is located on the third floor of the Clock Building. Integrated in this Management we find the Technical Office of Natural Parks, in charge of the management of the 12 natural spaces of the Diputació de Barcelona. Daily work is essential to preserve these spaces of high landscape, ecological and cultural value.

We would like to thank all the people involved, and we all work together to ensure that the project does not stop!
