Petit Festivalet

On 18 and 19 November, the Petit Festivalet  offered children who visited this fair the opportunity to get to know the Montseny newt.

During the weekend of 18 and 19 November, the Education Department of the Barcelona Zoo participated in the celebration of the first edition of the Petit Festivalet. With the idea of making the Montseny newt known to the little ones, an activity was offered to discover this amphibian endemic to the Montseny territory, which is currently in danger of extinction. A total of eight one-hour workshops were held over the two days. Approximately 120 children between the ages of 3 and 11 attended.
