The little book of the newt

The book "Soc en Marçal, un petit tritó del Montseny" is published, aimed at the youngest children.

At the end of 2018, the Press and Communication Office of the Diputació de Barcelona published and produced the book of the little newt of Montseny.

It is a 15-page publication that introduces us to Marçal, a small newt from Montseny. In a friendly and simple way, it brings us closer to the natural environment where Marçal lives and tells us about an adventure. It is a publication aimed at children and has as its protagonist this amphibian endemic to the Montseny Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve (included in the Natura 2000 Network).

The illustrations in the story are by Irene Jiménez. The text was written by Pepa Notó and Marta Sanmartín. Núria Garcia was in charge of the correction.

A limited edition of 3,000 copies has been printed. The book is not for sale but you can find it in the travelling tent of the Biosphere Reserve.
