The visit of Arganeraie

21/06/2019 12:33 h.

On 20 June, managers of Morocco's Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve visited Montseny

Taking advantage of their stay in Catalonia under the European Erasmus+ programme and thanks to the support of ICTA-UAB, the group of managers of the Reservation of the Biosphere of Arganeraie  got to know the Reservation of the Biosphere of the Lands of the Ebre, who were interested in applying an ecolabel for the Morocco region.

In Montseny, they had the opportunity to get to know the different projects and management lines of the Reservation of the Biosphere of the Montseny, especially the implementation of the European Letter of Sustainable Tourism (CETS) since 2011, a good example of participatory and joint work between the public sector and the private sector.

We also had the opportunity to explain the Life Trito Montseny project as a case of an initiative that combines custody of the territory and joint management.
