The project is presented in the framework of the Master in Geography of ICTA-UAB

On 20 November, Daniel Guinart presented a conference entitled "El tritón del Montseny y la gestión del hábitat de ribera".

This lecture was addressed to the students of the Master's course "Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability". Specifically, the talk was included in the speciality of the master's course entitled "Science and Management of Global Change".
The conference was attended by some twenty Master's students from different countries.

The Master's Degree "Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability" is located at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA). ICTA is an interdisciplinary and international research institute that works with different departments of the UAB.
Specifically, the Master has 4 different specialties or itineraries:
  1. Global Change Science and Management
  2. Ecological Economy
  3. Urban and Industrial Ecology
  4. Environmental Technology
This master's degree has a mixed orientation. On the one hand, it has a component of advanced studies for graduates in Environmental Sciences. On the other hand, it responds to other graduates and university graduates who seek to incorporate an environmental profile in their curricula, from aspects such as Ecological Economics and Environmental Management, Analysis of the Natural Environment, Environmental Technology, Industrial Ecology or Global Change, areas understood as specialities within the master's degree.
