The main aim of the Life Tritó Montseny is to improve the state of conservation of the Montseny brook newt and its riparian habitat 

Objective 1

To ensure the genetic conservation and expand the geographic distribution. To consolidate the good operation of the breeding centres

To increase the ecological flow of streams in its range of distribution in the Natural Park and Reservation of the Biosphere of the Montseny

newt is currently found.

To establish proper legal coverage at national and European level and to have a plan for its management
